BODYWORKER AND LIFE COACH TO THE STARS ARRIVES FOR TWO-MONTH RESIDENCY
Patina Maldives, Fari Islands is delighted to welcome Steve Harvey, a one-man powerhouse of profound, no-nonsense personalised healing, for an exclusive two-month residency until 15 May 2022. A holistic healer, bodyworker and life coach, Harvey has a growing reputation burnished by glowing testimonials from some of the biggest names in film, music, sports and fashion – from Donna Karan, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira and Serena Williams to Bruce Willis, Chris Martin, Roberto Cavalli and Roger Federer. Following the recent visit of renowned sleep therapist Dr Lindsay Browning, Harvey’s residency at FLOW, the spa at Patina Maldives, is the latest chapter in the resort’s evolving visiting practitioner programme. As well as coaching guests to harness the power of fear and uncertainty in order to achieve emotional emancipation, Harvey will be on hand to alleviate sufferers of acute and chronic pain through advanced bodywork techniques including healing massage, deep tissue release and Usui Reiki.
MIND A compassionate, down-to-earth Scot with a transformative gift for identifying and dispelling damaging emotional blocks and negative patterns, Harvey’s unique approach is founded on the belief that nothing is more healing than being liberated from the shackles of self-doubt. Tackling life’s biggest issues, from stress, anger, depression, anxiety to relationship problems, divorce and grief, Harvey’s one-of-a-kind Steppingstone SessionsTM provide a life-enhancing roadmap to rapid relief, supporting clients to let go of limiting beliefs and move forward with greater clarity of purpose, direction and action. Harvey also practices Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) to help balance the body-mind energy system and conquer stress and negative emotions, leading to improved physical and emotional wellbeing.
BODY Intuitive, fluid and customised to nurture body, mind and spirit, Harvey’s Transformational Bodywork sessions are rooted in holistic full-body healing massage to provide immediate relief from pain, dysfunction and the stresses of modern life. Responding to the individual’s unique needs, Harvey augments therapeutic bodywork with different healing modalities, restoring physical and emotional balance. A signature fusion of leading-edge deep tissue and sports massage techniques, Harvey’s Deep Tissue Release is an integrative massage experience that balances depth and pressure, contact and speed, to dissolve tension without pain, releasing deep muscle layers to restore mobility.
Harvey recommends Usui Reiki for those who are sensitive to pain, emotions and their environment. An ancient healing method discovered in Japan, Reiki promotes physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing by releasing tension and energy blockages, returning the body to a state of spiritual equilibrium and happiness. A deeply relaxing treatment in which the body’s natural healing ability can become more fully activated, Usui Reikie brings peace, calm and balance.
All treatments are available in 60, 90 and 120-minute sessions.
Spanning 1,500 square metres, Flow is a place of pure and tangible soul, crafted from native materials and made perfect by human talent.
