And the five stars go to... Patina Maldives, Fari Islands! The discerning critics of US-based travel bible, the Forbes Travel Guide, have once again completed their rigorous, 900-point annual assessment of the world’s leading luxury hotels, and have awarded Patina Maldives in North Malé Atoll their maximum five-star rating.

The Forbes Travel Guide is the only global rating system for luxury hotels, making it arguably the most internationally renowned award in the travel industry. This highest rating is reserved for outstanding hotels, where the focus is above all on exceptional service – and this is embedded in the team culture at Patina Maldives, from guests’ personal Essentialists to the kitchen crew.

Reflecting on the award, general manager Antonio Saponara commented, "We are honoured to receive a five-star rating from the Forbes Travel Guide – the world-renowned authority on excellence in hospitality. This achievement is testament to our team’s unwavering dedication to providing unforgettable guest journeys and service to our guests at Patina Maldives."
