PATINA MALDIVES, FARI ISLANDS UNVEILS THE NEWEST PATHWAYS: EMBRACING GROWTH, REST AND CONNECTION WITH CURATED EXPERIENCES

Resort innovator unveils the latest chapter of its series of signature events harnessing nature, wellbeing, creativity and exploration for deeper connections



Continuing its pursuit of experiences that bring enhanced depth and intention to guests’ lives, Patina Maldives, Fari Islands has announced the latest chapter of its perpetual signature events programme, Pathways.  

 

Harnessing the power of nature, wellness, exploration and creativity, Pathways seeks to encourage growth, rest and connection. From September 2024 to January 2025, guests at Patina Maldives will be indulged, inspired and invigorated by a Michelin-starred visiting chef; prestigious wines; residencies by a master healer, a pro tennis player and an award-winning sound healer; a trio of exclusive performances by a renowned musical duo; and an Italian food popup.

 

Craft candle and soap making

From 6 to 30 September 2024 guests can join ISO-certified Ogaa’s workshop to craft eco-friendly candles and soaps using locally sourced, Maldivian ingredients - the perfect way to embrace sustainable artistry and create personalised, nature-inspired products using the ancient cold-processing method.

 

Wine tasting sessions

Patina Maldives has curated an exclusive series of wine tasting sessions on 22 September, 26 October and 25 November. Showcasing world-renowned wines from some of the most prestigious makers across the globe, including Balthasar Ress, all three sessions will be taking place at the resort’s unique stargazing pier. 

 

Culinary delights

Throughout October, chef, author, TV star, alchemist, and philosopher Bo Bech returns to Patina Maldives. Bech is a trailblazer of the Nordic culinary movement which earned him a Michelin Star. Guests can join Chef Bo as he returns to continue his partnership with KŌEN at Patina Maldives for a unique culinary experience in the heart of the archipelago. 

 

Exclusive musical performances 

On 28 and 30 October and 1 November, guests can experience three exclusive concerts with virtuoso guitar duo Café Del Mundo, featuring Jan Pascal and Alexander Kilian. With standing ovations worldwide and millions of views, their fusion of authentic, traditional music from Bach and De Falla to Paco de Lucía with modern pop like Coldplay defines their unique sound. Their work is a joyous celebration of guitar, transcending genre boundaries and igniting audiences globally.

 

The power of sound healing

From 30 October to 30 November 2024 guests are invited to experience the transformative power of sound healing with Ashley Tan Siew, an award-winning practitioner and trainer. The soothing vibrations from instruments will harmonise mind, body, and spirit, promoting deep relaxation and inner peace.

 

Elevate your game

Throughout November guests will get the chance to elevate their game with pro tennis player Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and join a session to train alongside the top-ranked player celebrated for standout performances and a deep passion for sport.

 

The Ultra Italian pop-up

This November guests are invited to discover the Ultra Milano pop-up where pizza and cocktails by Dom Carella and Fabrizio Margarita redefine dining. With Dom’s club expertise and Fabrizio’s culinary mastery, the Ultra pop-up at Patina Maldives’ Veli Bar promises savoury food, exceptional drinks and unforgettable moments.

 

Relax and destress

From 15 December 2024 to 15 January 2025 guests can indulge in Shiatsu and Acupuncture by renowned Healing Practitioner Yuki Nishikubo, two ancient healing practices that promote relaxation, stress relief, improved circulation and increased energy. Bringing her extensive experience and dedication to promoting holistic wellness, Nishikubo returns to Patina Maldives for the ultimate wellness residency.
