VIETNAM AIRLINES ANNOUNCES LONDON HEATHROW SUMMER SCHEDULE

Flag carrier’s nonstop services from Heathrow T4 to Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City will operate five times weekly this summer, while new routes further enhance connectivity

National flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines has announced its Summer 2026 schedule from London Heathrow Airport. As of 29 March 2026, the APEX five star-rated airline is operating three nonstop flights per week to Hanoi and two per week to Ho Chi Minh City, serviced by next-gen Boeing B787-9 Dreamliners, before returning to increased flight frequencies from 25 October 2026 via its winter schedule.
Operating from London Heathrow’s Terminal 4, Vietnam Airlines is the only airline that provides nonstop flights from the UK to Vietnam. Outbound flights from London Heathrow are scheduled in the evening for comfortable overnight journeys, arriving during the day to maximise time in the destination. Onward connections via Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City allow for travel to multiple onward locations throughout Vietnam and beyond – including Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, South Korea, Japan, and Australia.

Further enhancing its connectivity across Asia and ease of travel for passengers, Vietnam Airlines is launching direct services from Amsterdam to Hanoi; and Ho Chi Minh City to Phuket; as well as increasing its frequency from Ho Chi Minh City to Manila.
Serviced by A321 aircraft, the new direct route from Ho Chi Minh City to Phuket commences on 2 April 2026. Initially operating three flights per week (departing at 16:00hrs Monday, Tuesday and Thursday), the service will increase to five flights per week on 18 April, with additional flights departing at 16:00hrs on Sunday and Saturday. Return flights from Phuket to Ho Chi Minh City will depart on the same days at 18:45hrs.
From 15 June, the airline will commence direct flights from Amsterdam to Hanoi. Serviced by A350 aircraft and operating three times per week, flights will depart Amsterdam at 14:00hrs on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Return flights operate on the same days, departing Hanoi at 03:50hrs.
From 31 May, Vietnam Airlines will also increase direct flight frequencies from Ho Chi Minh City to Manila, from eight flights per week to 15 times per week.
