Enchanting island resort Amilla Maldives is helping guests embrace holistic wellbeing for mind and body with its latest wellness residencies.

During their individual residencies, internationally recognised wellness consultant and educator, Francesc Miralles will guide guests towards resilience, vitality, and seasonal wellbeing through diet, exercise, and treatment focused sessions; while physiotherapy expert Numthip Puntha (Amp), will present an array of practices that focus on mind, body, and spiritual connection.
Francesc Miralles, until 20 February 2026
Originally from Catalonia, Francesc specialises in integrative health and the art of Yangsheng, an ancient Chinese practice designed to promote health and longevity by living in harmony with nature’s rhythms. Bringing over 30 years of clinical practice in Classical Chinese Medicine and physiotherapy, as well as expertise in myofascial, osteopathic, and craniosacral techniques, Francesc blends modern science with timeless practices to support overall holistic wellbeing.
Known for developing Harmonia – an award-winning wellbeing programme that blends diet, exercise and treatments – Francesc will support guests in exploring his approaches to holistic health with a series of complimentary group sessions and one-to-one treatments. Tailored evidence-based Physiotherapy treatments help to relieve pain, restore mobility, and support injury or surgery rehabilitation; while Postural Alignment assessments and targeted, hands-on correction help individuals improve their posture and movement through stretching, acupuncture, and massages. Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture encourages internal regulation and emotional stability; and Craniosacral Therapy calms the nervous system. Providing aesthetic care with a therapeutic foundation, Beauty & Body Contouring is tailored to support body contouring and weight-management goals, while Facial Acupuncture Lifting is designed to provide a fresher, more lifted appearance. Francesc offers 30-, 60-, or 90-minute sessions (from USD 230/330/440 or approx. GBP 170/245/327 respectively).
Introducing guests to his award-winning approach, Francesc will also be hosting complimentary Harmonia Posture and Alignment, Harmonia Mindfulness, and Harmonia Longevity Diet group classes.
