Trauma-informed life coach Umana Noordeen and holistic healer Pallavi Sawant complement private island retreat’s approach to physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing 



Throughout December and January, alluring natural island resort Amilla Maldives will encourage guests to embrace wellness for mind and body with its latest specialist wellbeing residences. Trauma-informed holistic life coach, physiotherapist and healer, Umana Noordeen, and Osho disciple and holistic healer, Pallavi Sawant, will offer guests a range of therapies aimed at balancing physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. 

 

Umana and Pallavi will host their individual residencies at Amilla’s tranquil Javvu Spa, providing guests with a myriad personalised wellbeing therapies, treatments and programmes, from Somatic Intelligence Sessions to Osho Dynamic Meditation. 

 

Umana Noordeen, 1 – 15 December 2024 

A former lead physiotherapist for the Maldives Olympic Committee trained in trauma-informed healing, Umana Noordeen blends her 20 years of expertise and deep knowledge of elite-level sports physiotherapy to help individuals embark on a holistic journey of renewal and revitalisation. 

 

Combining her coaching and healing specialisms, Umana’s Bespoke Healing Package (90 minutes; USD299 or approx. GBP230++) is a personalised treatment session focused on supporting pain-relief, improving posture, reducing stress and anxiety, while enhancing personal growth and transformation.  

 

Supporting deep healing, the Somatic Intelligence Session (60 minutes; USD269 or approx. GBP130++) is a therapeutic dialogue with the body to address imbalances in physical, mental, emotional and spiritual energy; while Integrated Somatic Therapy with Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCT) (60 minutes; USD269 or approx. Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy (from 60 minutes; USD269 or approx. GBP130++) targets bones, muscles and tissues to restore movement and function post-injury through a personalised combination of sports massage, acupuncture, fascial mobilisation and ultrasound therapy.  

 

Umana’s Holistic Life Coaching with Healing Cards Reading (from 60 minutes; USD269 or approx. GBP130++) supports those guests seeking guidance on their healing journey; while Spinal Energetics (60 minutes; USD269 or approx. GBP130++) blends Eastern and Western approaches to help release body tension and harmonise the spine and chakras for enhanced well-being. Additionally, the Non-Invasive Face Lift (60 minutes; USD269 or approx. GBP209++) offers a rejuvenating facial treatment, focused on Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy principles to improve fascial flexibility and facial structure for a youthful glow.  

 

Pallavi Sawant, 16 December 2024 – 31 January 2025 

Specialising in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and internal organ massage, Osho disciple and holistic healer Pallavi Sawant will invite guests to harmonise body, mind and soul through a unique combination of Tibetan singing bowl therapy, yoga Zuma, and Chakra Dance. 

 

Internal organ massage, also known as Chi Nei Tsang and inspired by traditional Chinese massage, focuses on releasing blockages and boosting circulation to support the gut and its vital role in overall wellbeing (from 45 minutes; USD185 or approx. GBP143++). The Detox Intestine and Nasal Cleaning session is based on two vital yogic kriyas to help enhance digestion, boost energy, strengthen the immune system and lower stress. 

 

Using vibrations for healing and meditation, Tibetan Sound Healing Therapy (60 minutes; USD235 or approx. GBP181++) is designed to release energy blockages, alleviate stress, reduce anxiety and create a balanced sense of relaxation.

Enhancing flexibility and strength, anti-gravity or aerial yoga (60 minutes; USD135 or approx. GBP104++) utilises a hammock to perform deep stretches; while aqua yoga (60 minutes; USD135 or approx. GBP104++) provides low-impact, gentle stretching sessions.
