RESTORE AND CONNECT WITH NATURE AT CHIVA-SOM HUA HIN

Award-winning transformative wellness destination, Chiva-Som in Hua Hin, Thailand invites guests to experience the restorative and healing effects of the natural environment. Its Nature’s Embrace retreat features outdoor activities, herbal wellness treatments, and immersion into wellness cuisine, with three- or five-day offers.

The great outdoors is known to improve sleep and vision, increase mental energy and immune health, and enhance emotional wellness – there is no place better than Chiva-Som’s serene beachfront setting and the tropical landscapes of Hua Hin. Guests will become one with nature on a forest walk through Krailart Niwate, the last mangrove eco-system of Hua Hin and the marquee sustainability initiative of the resort. The walk culminates in a brisk walk up to the peak of the sacred hill to the temple of Wat Khao Krailart, finishing with a Hilltop Meditation session where participants can contemplate the spectacular view of Hua Hin and the shimmering Gulf of Thailand.

The programme is, of course, underpinned by Chiva-Som’s acclaimed wellness cuisine. A tour of IFOAM-certified Chiva-Som’s Organic Garden, where much of the kitchens’ produce is grown, provides a fascinating showcase of therapeutic herbs, vegetables, and mushrooms from Thailand and beyond, as well as insights into their medicinal and healing properties. The visit is followed by a Private Cooking Class where guests will learn some of the unique techniques used in Chiva-Som's reputed wellness cuisine – a curation of dishes low in fat, calories, sugar, and salt, yet packed with flavour and nutrition. The retreat also includes carefully selected treatments with natural elements like local herbs and plants to incorporate natural wellness into guests’ lifestyles. In the Traditional Thai Herbal Massage, heated herbal packs are used to detox and alleviate muscle pain. In the Bamboo Massage, inspired by the Swedish deep tissue massage, bamboo sticks and massage oil are used to knead muscles and release tension.

The retreat has been curated to include physical activity like aerobattle exercise and the Kneipp Therapy walk in the Bathing Pavilion, as well as cycling or kayaking in outdoor spaces. For every night of their stay, guests can choose a daily treatment from the following: Thai Massage, Chiva-Som Signature Massage, Invigorating Massage, Oriental Scalp Massage, and Chiva-Som Skin Haven Body Polish. The full board retreat includes access to a wide programme of fitness and leisure activities, such as HIIT, low-impact yoga, gyrokinesis, ballast ball, and more.

The green season offers are available until 30th September, guests on all-inclusive retreats will receive wellness credits of THB 1,000++ per person per night which can be used towards treatments of their choice. In addition, guests staying 10 nights or more will enjoy a complimentary Vital Genomic Test valued at THB 30,000++.
