Zulal Wellness Resort recently introduced three new dedicated wellness retreats for children aged nine to 15 years, which can be added to any stay for a further personalised family experience*: Digital Detox, focusing on mindful digital disconnection to help participants develop a healthier relationship with technology; Fit 4 Life, tailored to encourage children to embrace physical activity and develop healthy habits; and Thrive, designed to cultivate emotional intelligence and resilience and support younger guests in building social and emotional awareness. All three retreats are tailored to encourage children to develop healthy habits that last a lifetime, and are thoughtfully crafted to inspire relaxation, strengthen family bonds, and promote rejuvenation. Drawn from an expansive, carefully curated list, retreat activities could include anything from nature immersion with outdoor activities; creative expression through art; journaling and music; nature walks; skill-building activities like storytelling; mindful and relaxation sessions; confidence-boosting sessions; and parent-child activities like joint artistic projects.

Zulal Discovery’s new series of wellness bundles can also be customised and combined to suit every family’s needs and can be added to any family stay**. Each bundle provides activities focused on different areas of wellbeing and connection: The Intergenerational Bundle includes an array of recreation, spa, and fitness activities; the Bonding Bundle helps smaller family units embrace quality time together; the Wellness Bundle for the Body offers a holistic approach to physical health, focusing on nutrition and recreational fitness; the Mind Wellness Bundle nurtures mental clarity and creative expression through mindfulness and artistic classes; and the Wellness Bundle for the Soul focuses on fostering meaningful connections and environmental harmony with each other as well as encouraging deeper connections with nature and loved ones.

Distinct from the resort’s adults-only Zulal Serenity offering, Zulal Discovery features family-friendly accommodation and is home to the Discovery Oasis, which offers dedicated family wellness facilities and age-appropriate specialised spaces for four specific age-groups. Within the Hedgehog Nursery, the youngest guests, aged up to three years old, are encouraged to open their minds to the wonders of creative play and discovery of the world around them, while The Fox’s Den is designed for children between four and eight years old to build cognitive development through physical and brain training exercises, focussing on creativity through arts and crafts. Base camp for nine to 12s is The Falcon Studio, signifying wisdom, vision and protection, with activities crafted to support self-esteem, mental cognition and physical abilities. Conceived to support teens (13 to 17 years) The Oryx Workshop incorporates music, indoor games and lounge areas and supports development, confidence, and wellbeing during this important life stage.
